CentOS 7.x Use LDAP address-book in thunderbird

To configure LDAP address-book such as address book from Zimbra in thunderbird use:
- Open Thunderbird
- Go to Edit
- Select "Account settings"
- Under Composition, Addressing, tick Use a different LDAP server then click Edit Directories.
- Click Add
- Under General tab
- Name
- ZimbraLDAP
- HostName
- mail.example.co.in
- Base DN
- dc=mail,dc=example,dc=co,dc=in
- Port Number
- 389
- Bind DN
- uis=user1,ou=People,dc=mail,dc=example,dc=co,dc=in
- Under General tab
- When done click OK then click OK again to close the LDAP Directory Services window.
- In the drop down menu make sure Zimbra LDAP is selected, then click OK to close the options window.
- In the To: box start typing a name or address of someone in the GAL. Thunderbird should display some auto complete options with user matches it finds.
