- Login to master node via root. Add nodes to PBS.
- qmgr #Further on Qmgr: prompt use below
- create node <node1>
- create node <node2>
- This should be done for all compute nodes
- Check PBS information. All three nodes should be visible
- pbsnodes -a
- To get only state information for all nodes, we can filter for state and node name via grep:
- pbsnodes -a | grep '^[^ ]\|state' | grep -v last
- Create queue
- qmgr -c "create queue testq1 queue_type=execution"
- qmgr -c "set queue testq1 started=true"
- qmgr -c "set queue testq1 enabled=true"
- qmgr -c "set queue testq1 resources_default.nodes=1"
- qmgr -c "set queue testq1 resources_default.walltime=3600"
- Set queue default values
- qmgr -c "set server default_queue = testq1"
- qmgr -c "set server scheduling=true"
- qmgr -c "set server job_history_enable=true"
- Check server properties
- qmgr -c "print server"
