Windows screen recording can be achieved with 'screenrecorder' utility. The download link is available at Microsoft technet website at http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/2009.03.utilityspotlight2.aspx The utility supports both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows. The utility requires Windows Media Encoder which is bundled in the download link.
The other alternative is to use cam studio. But last attempt of using "Cam Studio" on a 64-bit Windows 7 machine resulted into dll missing error. The error might have been due to 32-bit / 64-bit mismatch.
