To allow some users (not roles eg teacher) to see full profile, use following steps:
- Go to site administration -> Users -> Permissions -> Define roles
- Click to add a new role
- Give name such as "Full profile viewer"
- Select context where role may be assigned as system
- Give following permissions:
- View user full informationmoodle/user:viewalldetails
- View user profilesmoodle/user:viewdetails
- View hidden details of usersmoodle/user:viewhiddendetails
- View blockmoodle/block:view
- Add this role
- Go to site administrations -> users -> Permissions -> Assign system roles
- Assign this role to all faculty and perhaps TAs
