CentOS 8.x simplescreenrecorder

To record Desktop videos in CentOS 8.x we can use simplescreenrecorder:

  1. Install simplescreenrecorder 
    yum -y install simplescreenrecorder
  2. To record only audio you can launch application and start using it.
  3. If you want to record screen video then you need to switch to X11 from Wayland for it to work.

Unable to find older Gtk-recordmydesktop on CentOS 8.x
