ManageEngine Firewall Analyzer Installation

Download and Setup

  1. Download the ManageEngine Applications Manager Setup on the corresponding Virtual Machine (VM).
  2. Open the setup file and click Next to proceed.

Configure Ports

  1. The default port numbers should be 8060 and 8061. Do not change these values.
  2. Click Yes to confirm and proceed.

Registration Process

  1. A registration window will appear.
  2. Fill in the required details and click Next to proceed.

Grant Access

  1. Enable both options displayed on the screen.
  2. Click Allow Access to continue.

Select Database

  1. Choose POSTGRESQL as the backend database for the firewall.
  2. Click Next to proceed.

Loading and Login

  1. A loading screen related to the ManageEngine Firewall Analyzer will appear.
  2. After loading, the login page will be displayed.
  3. Use the default credentials:
    1. Username: admin
    2. Password: admin
  4. Click Login to enter the system.

Adding a Device

  1. On the next page, add your device by entering its details.
  2. Click the Validate button to verify the Device Name, IP Address, Username, and Password.

Firewall Access

  1. After successful validation, access the firewall through the Firewall Analyzer.

Accessing the Portal

  1. Once the installation is complete, you can access the portal using the VM’s IP Address and port number as a URL.
  2. Go to Settings > Server Settings to view the server ports.

Using Server Ports for Access

  1. The first server port number should be used with the VM’s IP Address as a URL for accessing the Firewall Analyzer through the VM.
  2. The second server port number should be used with the VM’s IP Address as a URL for accessing the Firewall Analyzer directly from a physical machine.
  3. If access issues occur, try using https:// before the IP Address
