Changing user from Self-Service to other groups
By default all LDAP or external users are added to self-service group. Users of this group can create ticket or post follow-up messages. To increase privileges of a user to technician, admin or super admin, etc. use:
- Login as GLPI
- Go to Administration -> Users
- Select user whose permissions need to be changed
- Choose Authorization from panel on left side
- Choose desired profile (Technician, Admin, Super admin, etc.) from drop-down menu shown at top and click 'Add'
