CentOS 7.x byobu

screen or tmux or byobu all help in screen multiplexing. byobu stands out in its ease of use. Start byobu by simply typing:

  byobu

and then work using following shortcuts:

F1
Help
F2
Create new window
F8
Set name for current window
F6
Detach from byobu
Alt-left-arrow
To go to window on left
Alt-right-arror
To go to window on right

If we 'exit' all running windows then byobu will stop.

After detach we can resume running byobu screens again by simply typing 'byobu'.
