Lsb release

lsb_release

This command can be used to find Linux OS installed on computer for example on Cent-OS-5.4 when we use command `lsb_release -a' we get following output:

LSB Version:    :core-3.1-amd64:core-3.1-ia32:core-3.1-noarch:graphics-3.1-amd64:graphics-3.1-ia32:graphics-3.1-noarch
Distributor ID: CentOS
Description:    CentOS release 5.4 (Final)

[root@labpc ~]# more /etc/issue
