To install VLC on CentOS 7.0 use:

yum localinstall http://li.nux.ro/download/nux/dextop/el7/x86_64/nux-dextop-release-0-1.el7.nux.noarch.rpm
yum -y install vlc

To setup remi repository use:

yum install http://rpms.famillecollet.com/enterprise/remi-release-7.rpm
