Rocky 9.x Thunderbird solving corrupted global database issue
If you get following in error logs:
Corrupted Gloda Database: The database might be corrupted, causing indexing errors.
Then we can solve this by resetting Gloda database via:
- Close Thunderbird
- Navigate to your Thunderbird profile folder
- Delete the file named "global-messages-db.sqlite"
- Restart Thunderbird (it will rebuild the database)
Bulk migration of emails between accounts
During any bulk migration failures use:
- Repair folder
- Close thunderbird
- Dleete old global-messages-db.sqlite file
- Reopen thunderbird
- Again retry move of emails
