Thunder AI Thunderbird plugin based access to perplexity API

Thunder AI can work with perplexity, local ollama and even OpenAI based on settings selected.

Installation

This plugin is configurable with many options and custom prompts. Also its UI is easier to see when working with slower local Ollama

To integrate ThunderAI with perplexity AI use:

Connection Type: OpenAI compatible APIUse below host address
Use below host address:

Ensure that “Keep the v1 compatibility” is not selected
Go to perplexity settings page and generate an API key for use with Thunder AI plugin
Click on "Manual insert model" and add an appropriate model name eg "sonar"
